Is Blitz really self-custodial?
Blitz does not store your 12-word seed phrase. Blitz publishes an open-source recovery tool, and Spark offers a unilateral exit if operators go offline. See the security and recovery guide.
Does Blitz work with other Lightning wallets?
Blitz supports compatible Lightning addresses, payment requests, and other payment routes. Asset and route support depends on the wallet and request. Check the details in Blitz before confirming.
What does the 12-word backup support?
The 12-word seed phrase restores wallet keys in supported Blitz flows. This does not prove that Spark funds can be moved when operators are unavailable. Keep the words private and review the security and recovery guide.
What happens if I send Bitcoin to the wrong address?
Bitcoin payments cannot be reversed. Check the recipient, asset, amount, and fee before you confirm. If you are unsure, send a small test payment first.
Does Blitz support on-chain Bitcoin?
Yes. Blitz can show on-chain Bitcoin send and receive options where available. Miner fees and confirmation times vary with network conditions.
Can I import an existing wallet backup?
A BIP39 seed phrase from another wallet may use different address derivation. Check Blitz's official instructions before importing. Never enter your words into an unverified website or tool; the security page explains the published browser-based recovery project.
