1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and Blitz Wallet LLC ("Blitz Wallet," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Blitz Wallet application (the "App").
By installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the App and uninstall it from your device.
2. Definitions
For purposes of these Terms:
- "App" means the Blitz Wallet self-custodial Bitcoin and Lightning wallet application.
- "Digital Assets" means Bitcoin, Spark tokens, and any other cryptocurrency or digital tokens supported by the App.
- "Processing System" means the proprietary secure processing architecture used by the App for wallet and payment operations.
- "Seed" or "Recovery Phrase" means the cryptographic seed phrase used to generate and restore your wallet.
- "Third-Party Services" means external services, applications, or websites that may be accessed through or integrated with the App.
- "Wallet Credentials" means your private keys, recovery phrases, PIN codes, passwords, and other authentication information required to access your wallet.
- "WebView Component" means the sandboxed JavaScript execution environment used by the Processing System.
3. Description of Services
Blitz Wallet provides a self-custodial digital wallet application that enables you to:
- Store, send, and receive Bitcoin and other supported Digital Assets
- Access Lightning Network functionality
- Utilize Spark network features (currently in beta testing)
- Make in-app purchases for certain services Send and receive digital gift cards through third-party providers
Important: The App is provided as open-source software. While you may inspect, modify, or distribute the code in accordance with the applicable open-source license, any use of the App remains subject to these Terms.
4. User Eligibility and Account Requirements
Legal Capacity: You represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and that you are not prohibited from using the App under any applicable laws.
Jurisdiction Compliance: You are responsible for determining whether the App is legal in your jurisdiction and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
5. Self-Custodial Wallet and User Responsibilities
5.1 Self-Custodial Nature
The App is self-custodial, meaning:
- You retain exclusive control of your Wallet Credentials and Digital
- Assets Blitz Wallet does not have access to your Wallet Credentials
- Blitz Wallet cannot recover lost Wallet Credentials or restore access to your funds
- You are solely responsible for the security and safekeeping of your Wallet Credentials
5.2 Your Responsibilities
- Securely store your Wallet Credentials in a safe location
- Never share your Wallet Credentials with anyone
- Create backups of your recovery phrase and store them securely offline
- Protect your device with strong passwords, biometric authentication, and up-to-date security software
- Verify all transaction details carefully before confirming any transaction
5.3 Consequences of Lost Credentials
CRITICAL WARNING: If you lose, forget, or compromise your Wallet Credentials:
- Your Digital Assets will be permanently and irretrievably lost
- Blitz Wallet cannot and will not be able to recover your funds
- No customer support, legal action, or technical intervention can restore access
By using this App, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for this risk.
6. Supported Digital Assets
6.1 Currently Supported Assets
The App currently supports:
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Spark tokens
6.2 Unsupported Assets
WARNING: Attempting to send, receive, or store digital assets not explicitly supported by the App may result in permanent and irreversible loss of those assets. Blitz Wallet is not responsible for any losses resulting from use of unsupported assets.
6.3 Changes to Supported Assets
We reserve the right to add or remove support for specific Digital Assets at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of such changes when feasible.
7. Security and Device Protection
7.1 Your Device Security Obligations
You must:
- Keep your device's operating system and all software up to date
- Use strong device authentication (passwords, biometrics, PINs)
- Install and maintain reputable security software
- Avoid using the App on compromised, rooted, or jailbroken devices
- Not access the App on public or unsecured networks without proper VPN protection
- Be vigilant against phishing attempts, malware, and social engineering attacks
7.2 Our Security Measures
While we implement industry-standard security measures to protect the App, you acknowledge that:
- No security system is completely invulnerable
- We cannot guarantee absolute security against all threats
- You assume the risks associated with digital asset storage and transmission
8. Risks and Disclaimers
8.1 General Risks
By using the App, you acknowledge and accept the following risks:
Financial Risks:
- Digital Assets are highly volatile and may lose value rapidly
- Transaction fees may fluctuate significantly
- You may lose some or all of your investment
Technical Risks:
- Software bugs, errors, or malfunctions may occur
- Network congestion may delay transactions
- Blockchain forks or protocol changes may affect your assets
Security Risks:
- Your device may be compromised by malware, viruses, or hacking
- Phishing attacks may trick you into revealing Wallet Credentials
- Physical theft of your device may result in loss of funds
User Error Risks:
- Sending funds to an incorrect address results in permanent loss
- Forgetting or losing Wallet Credentials results in permanent loss
- Accidentally deleting the App without proper backups results in permanent loss
8.2 Spark Network Beta Disclaimer
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Spark network is currently in beta testing and should be considered experimental.
By using Spark network features, you acknowledge and accept that:
- The Spark network may contain defects, errors, or security vulnerabilities
- Transactions may fail, be delayed, or produce unexpected results
- You may experience complete loss of any Digital Assets transmitted via Spark
- You should not use the Spark network for critical or high-value transactions
- All use of the Spark network is entirely at your own risk
Blitz Wallet disclaims all liability for losses, damages, or other consequences arising from use of the Spark network during its beta phase or thereafter.
8.3 No Investment Advice
Blitz Wallet does not provide investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. Nothing in the App or these Terms should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any Digital Assets. You should consult with qualified professionals before making financial decisions.
8.4 Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blitz Wallet disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability – fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement – that the App doesn't violate third-party rights
- Security – that the App is free from vulnerabilities
- Accuracy – that all information displayed is correct
- Reliability – that the App will function without interruption or error
- Performance – that the App will meet your expectations
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Any defects will be corrected
- The App is free from viruses or harmful components
- Results obtained from the App will be accurate or reliable
9. Third-Party Services and Integrations
9.1 Third-Party Services
The App may provide access to or integrate with third-party services, applications, websites, or protocols ("Third-Party Services"), including but not limited to:
- Lightning Network nodes and channels
- Gift Card providers
- VPN providers
- SMS providers
- Network Swap providers
- Generative AI applications
9.2 Your Acknowledgment
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Third-Party Services are operated independently by third parties
- Each Third-Party Service has its own terms, conditions, and privacy policies
- Blitz Wallet does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for Third-Party Services
- All use of Third-Party Services is at your own risk
- Blitz Wallet is not liable for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from Third-Party Services
9.3 Your Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Reviewing the terms and privacy policies of any Third-Party Services you use
- Complying with the requirements of Third-Party Services
- Any fees charged by Third-Party Services
- Any disputes with Third-Party Service providers
10. Store Purchases and Data Storage
10.1 In-App Purchases
The App may offer in-app purchases, including:
- Credits for third-party chat applications
- VPN configuration files
- Annonomous sms sending
- Receving SMS codes
- Gift Cards
- Other digital services or features
10.2 Data Storage
To improve user experience, we encrypt and store certain data in our database, including:
- Purchased credits and balances
- VPN configuration files
- Previously sent and received SMS messages
- Gift cards
10.3 Non-Refundable Purchases
IMPORTANT: ALL STORE PURCHASES ARE STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- All purchases are final and cannot be refunded for any reason
- This includes situations where credits, balances, or configuration files are lost, deleted, corrupted, or become unavailable
- Blitz Wallet is not liable for data loss due to corruption, system failure, security incidents, or any other cause
- Credits and configuration files stored in our systems are not guaranteed to be recoverable
- We do not guarantee long-term storage or availability of store-related data
10.4 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- Using purchased services promptly
- Maintaining backups of important configuration data when possible
- Understanding that purchased items may expire or become unavailable
If you do not agree to these non-refundable terms, do not make any purchases through the App.
11. Gift Card Feature
11.1 Gift Card Service
The App may allow you to send or receive digital gift cards. You acknowledge that:
- Gift cards are issued and fulfilled by third-party providers
- Blitz Wallet acts solely as a reseller and does not issue, warrant, or guarantee gift cards
- Gift card claim codes are handled and displayed to our systems during transfers
11.2 Security Risk Acknowledgment
IMPORTANT SECURITY NOTICE:
While we employ reasonable security measures, in the event of a compromise of Blitz Wallet's reseller accounts or related systems, gift card claim codes could potentially be exposed to unauthorized parties.
By using the gift card feature, you expressly acknowledge and accept this risk.
11.3 Limitation of Liability for Gift Cards
Blitz Wallet is not liable for any losses, disputes, or damages related to gift cards, including:
- Unauthorized redemption of gift card codes
- Third-party provider breaches or failures
- User error in transmitting gift card codes
- Expired or invalid gift cards
- Disputes with gift card issuers
12. WebView Processing System
12.1 System Overview
The App utilizes a proprietary secure Processing System that operates through a sandboxed WebView Component to handle computationally intensive wallet operations without impacting application performance.
12.2 Seed Transmission
Critical Technical Disclosure:
To initialize your wallet, the App must perform a one-time, in-memory transmission of your Seed from your device's secure storage into the WebView Component during each wallet session. This transmission is necessary to enable wallet functionality including:
- Sending and receiving payments
- Getting wallet balance
- Getting wallet transactions
- Other wallet actions
12.3 Security Safeguards
We implement multiple security measures to protect the Processing System, including:
Cryptographic Protections:
- Hash verification of the WebView bundle before execution to ensure file integrity
- Session-specific keypair generation with random nonces for mutual authentication
- Encrypted message passing using ephemeral keys unique to each session
- Replay and duplication protection through sequential identifiers and timestamps
Isolation Measures:
- Restrictive Content Security Policy (CSP) to mitigate script injection and cross-site scripting
- WebView execution in an isolated, incognito context
- Debugging, file system access, caching, and third-party network requests disabled
12.4 Acknowledgment of Inherent Risks
BY USING THE APP, YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE:
- You understand that the Processing System requires controlled, in-memory transfer of your Seed to the WebView Component
- Despite all reasonable security precautions, no system is entirely immune to compromise
- There remains an unavoidable residual risk that your Seed, wallet data, or transaction information could be compromised due to:
- Device-level compromise or malware
- Operating system vulnerabilities
- Zero-day exploits or other advanced threats
- Physical access to your device by unauthorized parties
- Other factors beyond Blitz Wallet's control
- You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the physical and digital security of your device
- Enabling system security updates, strong authentication, and encryption
- Preventing unauthorized access by third parties
- Regular backups of your recovery phrase
- You acknowledge that:
- Blitz Wallet cannot recover your Seed if it is lost, corrupted, or compromised
- Any compromise of your Seed may result in total loss of your Digital Assets
- You assume all risks associated with use of the Processing System
12.5 WebView System Warranties Disclaimer
THE PROCESSING SYSTEM AND WEBVIEW COMPONENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES.
We make no representation or warranty that the Processing System or WebView Component will be:
- Error-free or uninterrupted
- Completely secure or immune from unauthorized access
- Free from vulnerabilities or defects
If you do not accept these risks, you must immediately cease using the App.
13. Privacy and Data Protection

15. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct
15.1 Compliance with Laws
You agree to:
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws and regulations
- Ensure that your use of Digital Assets complies with tax, securities, and financial regulations in your jurisdiction
- Obtain any licenses or registrations required in your jurisdiction
15.2 Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any illegal purposes, including money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions violations
- Engage in fraudulent transactions or schemes
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the App's security (except for responsible security research conducted in good faith)
- Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Interfere with other users' access to the App
- Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Violate any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights
15.3 Consequences of Violations
Violations of these obligations may result in:
- Immediate termination of your access to the App
- Legal action and cooperation with law enforcement
- Liability for damages caused by your violations
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Blitz Wallet, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and contractors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to:
- Your use or misuse of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Any disputes between you and third parties
- Your negligence or willful misconduct
This indemnification obligation survives termination of these Terms.
17. Limitation of Liability
17.1 Types of Damages Excluded
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BLITZ WALLET, ITS AFFILIATES, DEVELOPERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
Indirect, Incidental, or Consequential Damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of Digital Assets or funds
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Loss of data or information
- Loss of goodwill or reputation
- Device damage or malfunction
- Data breaches or unauthorized access
- System failures or downtime
- Any other intangible losses
Even if Blitz Wallet has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
17.2 Specific Excluded Liabilities
Blitz Wallet is not liable for losses resulting from:
- User error, including:
- Loss or theft of Wallet Credentials
- Sending funds to incorrect addresses
- Failure to backup recovery phrases
- Accidental deletion of the App
- Security issues, including:
- Unauthorized access to your device or App
- Malware, viruses, or hacking
- Phishing or social engineering attacks
- Compromise of the Processing System or WebView Component
- Technical issues, including:
- Software bugs, errors, or malfunctions
- Network failures or congestion
- Third-Party Service failures
- Blockchain forks or protocol changes
- Market factors, including:
- Volatility of Digital Assets
- Changes in transaction fees
- Regulatory changes affecting Digital Assets
- Any other events beyond our reasonable control
17.3 Maximum Liability Cap
IN NO EVENT SHALL BLITZ WALLET'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING UNDER OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
(A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO BLITZ WALLET FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM; OR
(B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100 USD)
17.4 Jurisdictional Limitations
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
17.5 Assumption of Risk and Release
By using the App, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with:
- Storage and management of Digital Assets
- Use of self-custodial wallet technology
- Transfer and handling of your Seed within the Processing System
- All other aspects of the App's functionality
You hereby release and discharge Blitz Wallet and its affiliates from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, or causes of action (whether known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected) arising from or relating to:
- Any compromise or loss of your Seed or wallet data
- Any loss of Digital Assets
- Any use of or reliance upon the App
18. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
18.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan and applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
18.2 Agreement to Arbitrate
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT.
You and Blitz Wallet agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the App, or your use of the App (collectively, "Disputes") shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except as specified in Section 18.7.
18.3 Informal Dispute Resolution Requirement
Before initiating arbitration, you agree to first contact us to attempt to resolve the Dispute informally.
Process:
- Send a written description of the Dispute to: blake@blitzwalletapp.com
- Include your name, contact information, and a detailed description of the problem
- Include your proposed resolution
- Allow us 90 days to investigate and respond
We will attempt in good faith to resolve the Dispute informally. If we cannot resolve the Dispute within 90 days, either party may initiate arbitration.
This informal dispute resolution is a prerequisite to arbitration and must be completed before arbitration can begin.
18.4 Arbitration Rules and Procedures
If informal resolution fails, the Dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (the "AAA Rules"), as modified by these Terms.
Key Terms:
- Arbitrator: One neutral arbitrator selected according to AAA Rules
- Location: Arbitration shall take place in Michigan or, at your option, via telephone, video conference, or other remote electronic means
- Rules: AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules available at www.adr.org
- Governing Law: The Federal Arbitration Act (9 U.S.C. § 1 et seq.) governs the interpretation and enforcement of this arbitration provision
18.5 Arbitration Costs
- AAA Rules govern payment of filing, administration, and arbitrator fees
- Each party pays its own attorneys' fees unless awarded by the arbitrator
18.6 Class Action Waiver
YOU AND BLITZ WALLET AGREE THAT DISPUTES MUST BE BROUGHT ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
Unless both you and Blitz Wallet agree otherwise in writing:
- No class arbitrations or class actions are permitted
- No consolidation of individual arbitrations without consent of all parties
- No representative actions on behalf of others
- The arbitrator may award relief only in favor of the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to provide relief warranted by that party's individual claim
18.7 Exceptions to Arbitration
The following Disputes are not subject to arbitration and may be brought in court:
- Intellectual property claims: Claims of intellectual property infringement or misappropriation
- Injunctive relief: Requests for injunctive or equitable relief to prevent unauthorized use or abuse of the App
- Emergency security issues: Claims involving immediate threats to the security or integrity of the App
18.8 Opt-Out Right
You have the right to opt out of this arbitration agreement.
To opt out, you must send written notice to us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms:
Opt-Out Notice Must Include:
- Your full name
- Email address
- Statement: "I opt out of the arbitration agreement"
- Your signature (electronic signature acceptable)

If you opt out:
- You retain your right to pursue Disputes in court
- Blitz Wallet will not take any adverse action against you
- All other Terms remain in full effect
- This is your only opportunity to opt out; you cannot opt out at a later date
18.9 Jurisdiction and Venue (If Arbitration Does Not Apply)
If the arbitration agreement is invalid, unenforceable, waived, or does not apply to a particular Dispute, or if you validly opt out, you agree that any judicial proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Okland county Michigan, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.
18.10 Jury Trial Waiver
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND BLITZ WALLET WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL for any Dispute, whether in arbitration or in court.
18.11 Time Limitation for Claims
You agree that any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to these Terms or the App must be filed within SIX (6) MONTHS after such claim or cause of action arose, or it will be permanently barred.
This six-month period begins when you knew or reasonably should have known of the facts giving rise to the claim.
18.12 Severability of Dispute Resolution Terms
If any portion of this Section 18 is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full effect, except:
- If the Class Action Waiver (Section 18.6) is found unenforceable, the entire arbitration agreement (Sections 18.2-18.6) becomes void
- If the arbitration agreement is found invalid, the Jury Trial Waiver and Time Limitation provisions remain enforceable
18.13 Changes to Arbitration Terms
Notwithstanding Section 19 (Modifications to Terms), if Blitz Wallet makes any material changes to this arbitration agreement (other than a change to the contact information), you may reject the change by sending written notice within 30 days of the change to 230 W Mable Road Troy, MI 48084. Your rejection means you will arbitrate under the version of the arbitration agreement that existed when you first accepted these Terms (or, if applicable, the version you most recently accepted).
19. Modifications to Terms
19.1 Right to Modify
Blitz Wallet reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time in our sole discretion. When we make changes, we will:
- Post the updated Terms on our website and/or within the App
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms
19.2 Your Acceptance of Changes
Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
If you do not agree to any changes, you must:
- Stop using the App immediately
- Transfer any Digital Assets to another wallet before discontinuing use
- Uninstall the App from your device
19.3 Checking for Updates
You are responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms. We recommend checking our website periodically for update.
20. Termination
20.1 Termination by You
You may stop using the App at any time by:
- Uninstalling the App from your device
- Transferring your Digital Assets to another wallet before uninstalling
- Discontinuing all use of Blitz Wallet services
WARNING:Before terminating your use:
- Ensure you have securely recorded your recovery phrase
- Transfer all Digital Assets to another wallet
- Backup any important data or configuration files
- Understand that uninstalling without proper backups will result in permanent loss of funds
20.2 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent, illegal, or harmful conduct
- Threats to the security or integrity of the App
- Court orders or legal requirements
- Discontinuation of the App or certain features
20.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your license to use the App immediately ends
- You must cease all use of the App
- Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including: ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution provisions
IMPORTANT: Because the App is self-custodial, termination does not affect your control over Digital Assets, provided you have properly secured your Wallet Credentials. However, you will no longer be able to access your funds through the Blitz Wallet App.
21. General Provisions
21.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Blitz Wallet regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.
21.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
21.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Blitz Wallet.
21.4 Assignment
You may not assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms or your rights and obligations without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction. Any attempted assignment in violation of this section is void.
21.5 No Partnership
Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between you and Blitz Wallet.
21.6 Force Majeure
Blitz Wallet is not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, or internet/network failures.
21.7 Export Controls
You agree to comply with all applicable export and import laws and regulations. You represent that you are not located in, and will not use the App in, any country subject to U.S. embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
21.8 Notices
